Waste glass sorting and recycling installation

Ecobulpack built the first waste glass sorting and recycling installation in Bulgaria and on the Balkan Peninsula, situated on the territory of the Sofia municipality.

The main part of the equipment was delivered by the Austrian comapny BINDER+CO, which is a technological leader in the field of sorting installations in Europe.

The capacity of the installation is 40 000 tons per year.

The installation allows the separation of glass packaging from impurities such as porcelain, ceramics, organics, metal, and others.

The installation has the option of sorting the glass by colour.

The purity of the final product is over 99%, which is equal to 100g impurities per tonne.
